My area of expertise is in stress- and trauma-related symptoms, namely posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD), depression and suicidality. Stress and trauma can shift our entire worldview and our sense of safety and trust, our confidence and competency, and sometimes makes us feel we no longer 'fit' where we used to. This can effect every aspect of our lives. I will serve as a sounding board, to help identify your "why" and your "what," to access and troubleshoot any roadblocks along the journey, then provide strength-based, trauma-focused support to reach your specific goals and help you to build a life you truly want to live.
As a humanist, I believe it is critical to help individuals build and embrace their value and agency in life. Clinically, I integrate principles of positive psychology with evidence-based treatments (especially trauma-focused therapy) and am a strong believer in ketamine-assisted psychotherapy when it is appropriate. My therapy services are via telehealth.
This work is sacred to me. I am honored to play even the smallest role in supporting individuals to make positive changes and to reach their goals for improved mental health and wellness, processing stress and trauma, and managing and reducing suicidal thoughts.
