As a Licensed Clinical Social Work Therapist, I always feel honored and privileged to support the children and adults that I work with. There are many challenges and obstacles that we face every day causing all different types of feelings and behaviors within us. In order to cope more effectively day to day, as a nationally certified Trauma Therapist, Parent Child Interaction Therapist and Prolonged Exposure Therapist, I do not ask the question ' What is wrong with you?' but rather ' What has happened to you?' which, I believe, begins the journey into self- reflection and self- healing.
I specialize in Trauma Therapy which includes national certification in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Parent Child Interaction Therapy along with certification in Prolonged Exposure. I was trained in the Sanctuary Model which embraces the theory of Trauma Informed Care. I have experience working with Military families, Medical Trauma, Autism and Foster Families.
Northeast Therapeutic Wellness Center, PLLC, focuses on Trauma Informed Care practices with evidenced based therapy models. I also consult with ACE of NEPA (Headstart).
