I have an open genuine heart willing to understand how to help you get back on track to meet your goals and develop consistent healthy life choices. In session, we will utilize an interactive and solution-focused approach aimed at creating a safe environment to identify those obstacles, without judgement, and to explore the core issues of the problem. My goal is to empower my clients to independently and constructively problem solve, create strategies to learn their potential, and to heal past mistakes for the future they desire.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) holding two Master's degrees from The University of Chicago and a Professional Education License (PEL) from the IL Board of Education. I am trained with a Person Centered Trauma Informed Approach, I can navigate the IEP process, and support crisis management including crisis assessment and suicide ideation.
We've all experienced times in our life when we need help navigating through more challenging issues. I am passionate about supporting adults and adolescents understand self defeating behaviors, while developing improved self-compassion.
