Every day we have the opportunity to nurture and strengthen our relationships through our interactions; these are sliding door opportunities. The door opens, and we can turn towards our partner with intention and honor the sacredness of the relationship; once the door shuts the opportunity is lost. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the states of Texas, Oregon, Idaho and California and specialize in working with couples to recognize these frequently lost opportunities which build the friendship and intimacy in relationships. When our friendship is strong, we communicate with vulnerability, compassion and kindness.
I work with couples with genuine sensitivity and curiosity and I intentionally create an atmosphere for absolute openness and compassionate listening and guidance. I invite couples to gently explore their individual experiences and traumas and provide psychoeducation to support a better understanding of their behaviors and reactiveness.
I look forward to walking alongside and guiding couples to restore, nurture and strengthen their relationships.
