For the past 30 years, I have had the privilege of helping individuals achieve their goals and overcome a variety of difficulties including depression, anxiety, eating disorders, relational struggles, and life transitions. My hope is that each individual I work with will gain a better understanding of themselves and their context and also learn valuable skills to move forward towards a more fulfilling and flourishing life.
Originally trained in the psychodynamic tradition, I utilize a variety of approaches including Internal Family Systems, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, TEAM ( a highly effective therapy developed by David Burns - Stanford University), Acceptance Commitment Therapy, Mindfulness, and Brainspotting. I provide evidence based, creative, and compassionate care.
I tailor my approach towards each individual's needs and goals and as a chronic learner am always bringing new insights, skills and tools into my practice. I utilize an ongoing system of feedback with each client to better ensure that they are having a positive and helpful experience.
