Whether your problem is the result of a crisis or a pattern of self-destructive behavior, your ability to cope is impacted by your personal strengths. My first goal is to meet you where you are, listen to your story, and focus on the way your past shapes the way you deal with challenges in the present.
I use an insight-oriented approach which believes people and their problems are unique, holding that problems may be based in factors that lie outside awareness. The therapist client relationship is central to the journey, and together we work to uncover the deeper motivations for your feelings and behaviors.
The therapy I use is especially suited to long-standing issues when depth work is needed to bring about lasting change. I'd like to hear from you if you are curious about your story, and how this effects the way you are today. I like to meet with clients in my office but I do use telehealth to supplement when there is illness or bad weather, etc.
