I work from a psychodynamic and interactive perspective to assist individuals, couples, and families to become more conscious of how their past experiences have shaped current relationships. Many clients are experiencing difficulties, challenges, psychological pain, and life transitions and wish to move into a more joyful, meaningful, and peaceful life. We work together to discover patterns and connections that can help lead to greater self-understanding so that we can understand ourselves in relationship to others.

I believe in an integrative approach as no one approach works universally. My training is rooted in depth psychology (making the unconscious conscious); attachment theory (exploring how early emotional bonds affect emotional development and relationships throughout life); and object relations (looking at how we developed in relation to others).

For many people, identity is a complex phenomenon involving a combination of ethnic and nonethnic influences. I welcome ALL people who wish to explore, discover, and find their way to a more fulfilling, creative, and peaceful life!

Lynn M Hynes's Groups

Women in Transition

This group is open to women who are experiencing potential or current life shifts and changes. We will explore the challenges, fears, and exhilaration of discovering our deepest truths, and longings. In discovering and living more fully into our authentic selves, we can begin to thrive and open to possibilities we did not believe were possible. THIS GROUP WILL NOT BE MEETING THIS FALL. ALTHOUGH THERE HAS BEEN A LOT OF INTEREST, MY TRAVEL SCHEDULE WILL NOT ALLOW ME TO MEET REGULARLY THIS FALL OF 2019. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR INTEREST. LYNN

Women in Transition

This group will focus on women going through challenging life changes such as relationship break-up's, career change, loneliness, stuck-ness, loss, and any life transition. The group will begin with a guided meditation and end in quiet reflection. The focus will be on confidential sharing, support, and emotional check-in's. Sharing life experience is a way to heal ourselves, but we can also offer insights for other group members who might be challenged by similar issues. Looking forward.... WOMEN IN TRANSITION GROUP WILL BEGIN IN JANUARY, 2020 AND DISCONTINUE IN APRIL, 2020. EMAIL ME IF YOU ARE INTERESTED.
