I am a licensed therapist with over 35 years experience and am a Medicare provider. My practice, serving the Northwest Valley, is focused on meeting with adult females age 55+. I specialize in the following areas of concern: women's issues, self-esteem/self-worth, loss and grief, depression, anxiety, life transitions, caregiver and other life stressors, major health changes, aging and retirement.
Everyone struggles at one time or another with life challenges and changes. My belief is that each person has strengths and qualities that enable them to cope with difficult situations. Our work together would be aimed at helping build on those strengths, identify solutions and set a general goal of achieving a healthy and contented life.
I believe that a therapist and client working together toward solutions have the best chance for a successful outcome. I value providing a safe and comfortable environment that is confidential and respectful. My approach is solution-focused while allowing time for clients to fully express their thoughts, feelings and goals.
