I equip children, teens and young adults with the tools, knowledge and life skills they need to grow. I'm a telehealth therapist, life coach, and award-winning author of books for children from divorced families. Through Calm the Storm Counseling, LLC, I also help young people navigate anxiety, depression, life transitions, friendship difficulties, and more.
When working with minors from divorced families, I require both parents to give consent. I also meet with a parent(s) in advance to learn more about their family situation, the child’s struggles and their goals, as this helps me determine if I am a good fit. I use a variety of supports (e.g. books, role playing, games, etc.) to help children.
