My name is Lynn Goldberg, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), providing psychotherapy via telehealth throughout New York State. I have significant experience working with adults of all ages, using a strengths-based, client-centered approach. I employ several modalities, including Solutions Focused, Motivational Interviewing, and psychodynamic therapy, tailoring my work to meet the individual needs of each client as they overcome challenges in their lives. I specialize in working with adults of all ages as they navigate the challenges they experience throughout life's transitions.
In therapy, we address feelings of depression, anxiety, and increased stress that can arise or deepen during times of change or loss. The therapy process brings forth personal strengths, builds coping and stress management strategies, and helps shape a positive vision for the future.
Using Solution Focused Therapy and Motivational Interviewing as the foundation of my therapeutic approach, I have the tools to actively listen to the challenges my clients face, learn about what has worked, and help each individual move in the direction of the goals they set.
