My therapeutic work is Depth Psychology-based, grounded in the knowledge that all emotional pain has a root source, and that to alleviate the symptoms, we must find that source and heal those old wounds. I treat trauma and PTSD, mood disorders, women's issues, codependence, grief & loss, stage of life issues, creativity, and LGBQIA and Transgender/Gender Non-Conforming issues. I work with transgender/NGC adults, and families.
I am trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and Brainspotting, two of the best methods for healing trauma and PTSD; talk therapy, mindfulness, sand tray, and dream work. My Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Toby, will often join us unless you prefer not to have him in session.
