I am a psychotherapist licensed in North Carolina and Virginia. In my career I have worked mainly in an in-office outpatient setting. I also have experience offering individual therapy in Assisted Living and Skilled Nursing facilities throughout North Carolina.
Though I treat clients of all ages and in most areas of mental health, my primary focus is adults, seniors, and adolescents with anxiety, depression, PTSD and grief, as well as ADHD in individuals of all ages. I am experienced in mindfulness and meditation and work with energy and consciousness to expand our current awareness.
While therapy is confidential, healing is often a collaborative effort. Family and those close to you are often part of the process as well as beneficiaries of therapy. Continuity of care is important in this process; therefore, I work closely with PCP's, Psychiatrists and other involved individuals and specialists.
