I am a Licensed Professional Counselor. I earned a Masters in School Counseling and Professional Counseling from Sul Ross State University. I have worked with children and adolescents in various capacities for over 29 years. I specialize in working with children and adolescents who are experiencing depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, loss, ADHD, as well as self-esteem.
I implement my training in EMDR and from The National Institute for Trauma and Loss in Children as well as other therapy techniques, such as CBT, art, play, and mindfulness to help facilitate desired change. Working together in a positive partnership, will help you become your best self.
My credentials include twelve years of teaching experience as a Special Education Teacher and fourteen years of experience as a Certified School Counselor and Licensed Professional Counselor in the school setting for nine years. I look forward to the opportunity to guide you in this present moment as your therapist and support you in reaching your goals.
