My experience includes dealing with depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, stress management, anger management, coping with health-related challenges and identifying vocational options. I have worked with ages 13 to Adult. Each session is tailored to meet the client in their place of concern. Due to individual differences and experiences, the session may include learning tools and exercises to help the client implement changes they desire, or it may involve exploring various aspect of what they are experiencing, through understanding and relational connection. I would be honored to help facilitate your journey towards healing.
CBT has been very effective for me. Focusing on the here and now, looking forward to the future, rather than dwelling on the past provides a good path to healing. Solution-focused therapy has also been useful.
