Hi! I’m so glad you're here! Looking for a therapist is tough, and it takes courage to take those first steps. As a Marriage and Family Therapist, I approach therapy systemically, meaning I explore the patterns, relationships, and experiences that have shaped who you are today, rather than focusing on a single problem. I often connect well with those who have felt “different,” misunderstood, or like they don’t quite fit in, because I’ve often felt that way too. As a proud Mexican-American woman, neurodivergent therapist, and LGBTQIA+ ally, I strive to create a space where clients feel seen, safe, and accepted as their unique selves.
A core value of mine, both personally and professionally, is authenticity. I’m not your typical “buttoned-up” therapist, because that’s simply not who I am. I show up as my genuine self and encourage clients to do the same. Therapy with me is not about changing who you are. It’s about creating a space where you feel safe, accepted, and free to be yourself.
A big part of my work is helping clients heal from past wounds and childhood trauma. When we experience trauma, we often develop coping skills that help us survive. Over time, some of those patterns may no longer serve us. My goal is to help you better understand those patterns, build healthier ways of coping, and move toward a more fulfilling life.
