Somatic Sound Processing and hypnotherapy: In session you are invited to settle into the comfort of your own home. We meet via online and a completely unique auditory sensory space is created for you by use of the neurobiology of SOUND. These sessions are unlike typical clinical therapy in that most of the processing is happening without “going into the story”. Basic somatic meditation techniques, personally designed hypnotherapy statements and the attuned sound experience provide an incredible opportunity for you to regulate a stressed or trauma patterned nervous system.
This happens by stimulating the vagus nerve through the middle inner ear; mid range frequencies actually induce the nervous system into a state of safety. It is also very likely that you will be supported in accessing deeper states of consciousness. Sound can access the limbic emotional system in a way that is sometimes unreachable through words alone.
Participants experience an expansive sense of connection to themselves, often report a feeling of "tuning in" to something deeper. Through practice you can embody the wisdom that these experiences provide. A stressed or trauma patterned nervous system can repattern itself, making it possible to live in a way where the present is more powerful than the past.

Modern Keening: A Sound Inspired Grief Group
Whether you are experiencing the loss of a loved one, loss of a relationship, job, or identify this group is intended to be a sacred space of feeling into our grief while in community. Although largely forgotten in modern culture, keening was practice of ritualized lamenting. We once had a deep connection and practice of grieving with others and sharing our burden of loss. The "Bean Chaointe" (Women Keener) was a "great crier", and would embody the energy of the grief into Song. Our time together will include both passive sound experience and time for sharing.
