In practice we will utilize various modalities to navigate individual challenges and needs. With every person and family I take a conversational approach to help individuals feel comfortable, and encourage discussing goals and priorities often. I am knowledgeable and comfortable working with a variety of client needs, including LGBTQIA+ identifying individuals, neurodivergent folks, and individuals navigating chronic illness. Depression, anxiety, and all mental health challenges can impact life in many ways, and create different challenges across all parts of life.
My interventions include various methods, theories, and evidence-based practice including frameworks from cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, and acceptance and commitment therapy. The goal of this range of modalities is to help individuals recognize their own thought patterns and how they impact their behavior.
I am open to engaging with all individuals in meaningful treatment to inspire change and provide lasting impact. I look forward to working with you, hearing your stories, and helping you build up a toolbox of coping mechanisms for managing every challenging situation you may find yourself in.
