What does it mean to hold space for someone else? As a clinically trained social worker my goal is to provide a space for you that is safe, supportive and free from judgment while pursuing growth and change. I seek to help my clients explore and identify sources of stress with a goal of improving their well-being, self awareness and coping skills. I enjoy working with people who are seeking to heal from traumatic life experiences, those who are working through grief and chronic stress, and those who are experiencing depression and anxiety.
My therapy practice is primarily relational, humanistic and integrative incorporating aspects of mindfulness and meditation, exploring and understanding the brain-body connection, and the use of varying therapeutic methods to recognize the unique individuality of a person while honoring the universality of the human experience.
I believe we all have the potential to improve our lives through self exploration, identifying new ways to cope, self awareness and practicing self-compassion. "It is a solitary road into the unknown self and offers no destination but a journey. But for those who follow, it does lead somewhere and such a life will never be uninteresting." - Bernice Ende
