As a School Social Worker I have direct experience working with teachers, students and parents. I am offering short-term treatment at this time to provide you with a safe space to express your concerns and help you to develop a mindful plan for optimum mental health. My private practice has provided support to many adolescents and their families, for those who are in need of on-going therapy to address social- emotional and relationship issues that have become magnified during Covid-19.
I have years of experience in public school and community mental health, including crisis response and intervention. My insight into the world of education can be especially helpful to educators and administrators as you struggle to balance the need for safety with the educational and emotional needs of students and families.
I can offer coping strategies and support during this time. I am available for video conferencing on an as needed and short-term basis. It is only when we are able to take care of ourselves that we are able to better care for our families. Crisis can offer us an opportunity to bring healing to our lives.
