I work collaboratively with my clients to address symptoms of depression, anxiety, panic attacks, obsessive thoughts and maladaptive behaviors. Central to my work with clients is my dedication to creating a safe, non-judgmental space, and building a strong therapeutic relationship to effectively address presenting concerns. In addition, I work with a keen awareness of the interconnection between medical and mental health. I also work with clients who are going through major life changes, and are experiencing distress that comes with the challenges of making major adjustments.
I view human suffering as points of pivot for making meaningful turns, and so thoughts and behaviors that one develops to cope -- are crucial in determining outcomes. Unexpected life events may upend one's life in ways that cause immense anxiety, depressive thoughts, and in some cases, trigger flare-up of emotional discomforts associated with past traumas.
Healing is possible. I can help. I will work with you to build skillsets to successfully process traumatic memories, improve mood states, and address stress and other emotional challenges. Collaboratively, we can access you strengths and build on them to weather the storm. Please don't hesitate to reach out.
