Growing up these days is different from ever before. Let me support you and the child/teen you love. I love to partner with parents by sharing concepts presented in counseling in order to allow those to extend into the home/school. To this end, I offer free 15 minute consults with parents to facilitate our sharing of information whenever appropriate. I bring more than 25 years of licensed professional experience in schools and outpatient settings to our work.
I prefer to see youth in my office, however I offer telehealth and in-school sessions. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Positive Psychology, and Neuroscience based interventions steeped in an understanding of human and child development. I am also a Certified Autism Specialist.
I strive to stay current on new research AND trends with youth so that my practice is well informed. I spend time outside of sessions preparing for our future work in order to ensure we use our time together wisely. Not dealing with insurance paperwork means I have time to plan and serve you and your child / teen!
