My name is Lyn, and I am licensed in both Marriage and Family Therapy and Substance Use/Addiction Therapy. I have been working as a therapist for the past 32 years. My work focuses on a variety of issues: addiction, anxiety, depression, OCD, PTSD, and gender identity, just to name a few. I create a space where you can explore these challenges and work toward meaningful change. Influenced by my own family struggles and coming from a long family history of addiction, I was naturally attracted to the mental health field. I want to teach others that they can overcome whatever life throws at them.
Starting therapy is similar to starting with a new doctor. My initial meeting is used to gather information about your history, determine what you believe the problem is, and help you identify your short- and long-term goals.
My strengths are in addiction and co-occurring mental health disorders, Family therapy, and trauma therapy, and this has been my focus throughout my career. I am comfortable working with adults, both male and female, and I tailor my approach to meet each person where they are.
