About
I'm Dr. Lydia R. Malcolm, a Licensed Psychologist and Wellness seminar/workshop facilitator. I provide psychological services (English/Spanish) using Mindfulness Based Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for health promotion and maintenance. I am a Ph.D. graduate of the Nova Southeastern University's Clinical Psychology program with a concentration in Health Psychology. My predoctoral internship was completed at the Yale Stress Center, Yale School of Medicine, working in an interdisciplinary team treating client's with a variety of mental and physical health concerns.
My clinical experiences include assisting clients in making behavioral changes (smoking cessation, substance abuse, weight management), treatment of anxiety and depression, retirement transitioning, chronic health conditions, pain, sleep disorders, adjustment difficulties and stress management. I provide individual therapy and corporate wellness education.
My goal is to help my clients achieve mental and physical health, in their personal and professional lives.
