I am committed to working with individuals to help them achieve their goals and therefore individualize treatment to meet each client's unique needs. I attempt to build upon strengths to instill hope and bring about change. I assist individuals to find meaning in the midst of life's challenges. I believe that with hard work and persistence, change is possible.
My ideal client would include individuals seeking assistance for addictions, depression, anxiety disorders, stress management, trauma, self-esteem, anger management, couples counseling, family counseling, and integrating spiritual issues in counseling.
I have advanced training in treating anxiety and stress management issues and mood disorders. I also have specialized training in working with individuals with a trauma history and/or an addiction history. Finally, I have specialized training in the integration of spirituality with counseling.
I have provided assessments and counseling services at both inpatient and outpatient facilities. I have experience working with adults, couples, families, groups, children and adolescents. I enjoy working with clients who wish to integrate their faith into the counseling experience. I am a certified mediator.
