My approach is centered on exploring your authenticity, providing space where you can share thoughts and feelings without fear or criticism, and strengthening your understanding of yourself in connection to your community. I enjoy working collaboratively with individuals, looking at cultural/systemic barriers when discussing factors of stress. Folks who tend to find their way into my office are looking to address concerns around their identity, anxiety, depression, life transitions, or a wide spectrum of traumatic experiences.
I offer a trauma-informed, humanistic approach- which just means that I am conscious of our messiness as humans and embrace the idea that we all have potential to aspire towards. I strive to be an inclusive therapist who supports BIPOC individuals, members of the LGBTQIA2S+ community, and neurodiverse folks.
I am committed to helping you achieve lasting change and growth, and I take great pride in the progress we make together. Being vulnerable within our shared space may not always come easy for some, so I’ll be using curiosity, compassion, and humility in hopes to build a sense of safety.
