Does your busy life have you feeling stressed, overwhelmed, anxious, frustrated, or like you're not connecting to your true self anymore? My passion is to help others, especially through art. My 13 years of combined experience as an art teacher and a school counselor along with my credentials can help you in your life journey to your best self. I am most experienced with middle and high school-aged clients with my school counseling and teaching background but truly love working with all ages- children, teens, and adults! We can use art and/or talk therapy. I'll meet you at your comfort level! :)
What I love about art therapy is that it is truly for everyone: any age, any gender, and does not require any artistic skill. Art Therapy is process-based, focusing on the journey of expression rather than making an artistic masterpiece. Art is the vehicle for emotions, feelings, thoughts, and ideas to be expressed. Art helps when words are difficult.
Oysters create pearls by using the irritating sand that comes into their shell. The oyster is able to create a beautiful pearl out of its negative situation. What is the sand in your life that needs to be transformed into pearls? Let me help guide you on your journey. Everyone is welcome at Oyster and Pearl Art Therapy, PLLC. Please feel free to reach out.
