About
I'm Luz Martinez, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, specializing in individual, couples and family therapy, and maintain a private practice in Miami, FL. In 2008, I graduated from Florida International University with a Master of Science in Psychology. I've worked in multiple treatment settings with populations ranging from adolescents to the elderly.
I use a Person-Centered Approach along with Cognitive Behavior Therapy tailored to each client's circumstances and needs. I understand when people seek therapy, it is because they have experienced or are experiencing an event in their lives.
You don't have to go through it alone. I can partner with you and provide the tools needed to succeed. Hope and support are tantamount in the therapeutic relationship. I will always support you and I will always give you hope, one client at a time.
