About
As a therapist, I work from a strengths-based interpersonal perspective, highlighting your resilience with the goal of creating a more fulfilling life. The decision to begin therapy is a highly personal and complex process for many. With this in mind, I thrive to create a non-judgmental, safe and warm environment for exploration and growth. The aim of our work together will be to create a more harmonious relationship with yourself that will positively affect your relationships with those around you.
I have specialized training and expertise in working with: gender, sexuality, lgbtq+ people of color, lgbtq+ young people, parents of lgbtq+ children, sexual functioning issues, sexual anxiety, relationship conflict, persistent mental illness, trauma, anxiety, individuals in the arts and entertainment, chronic health issues, addiction, political anxiety and race related issues.
I hope to bring people into therapy who have often been marginalized and historically excluded from such spaces. In order for this to occur, a reciprocal mutual respect must be created in order for trust to build and meaningful work to begin.
