Hi there, I’m Lupita! My name is Lupita and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in Merced, California. I work with clients statewide via telehealth. I work with adults and specialize in anxiety, panic disorder, stress, depression, and trauma-related disorders using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy.
My approach with clients is to set goals together and define what the client wants to accomplish in our time together. This often requires an alliance and trust between the therapist and the client. We will find ways to track progress and modify treatment if necessary.
The first session together consists of understanding what brings you into therapy and how you have been feeling recently. Also, it is important to gather history in the first session as this will help me understand why you may be feeling this way.
