Hey, I'm glad you're here. We're living in some of the darkest times many of us have seen, so it makes sense to seek support right now. I approach therapy from the perspective that our emotional struggles are a reasonable response to what is happening around us - and let's face it, we have a lot to be emotional about. Maybe you feel in a fog, shut down, vibrating, irritable, or unable to rest. However reasonable, our stress impacts our quality of life and our relationships. Therapy is a time set aside to safely explore difficult memories, emotions, fears, and patterns and what you'd like to see change in your life (inside and out).
I welcome people experiencing distress of all kinds. My specialty is working with people living with the stress of social change and care roles, as well as people recovering from high-control relationships and systems (i.e., abuse, religious trauma), experiencing depression, anxiety, and relationship issues. People without insurance can access low-cost care.
