I'm here to help you develop skills to think and view yourself differently and perceive the world from new perspectives in a safe, non-judgmental space. As an immigrant and intimate relationship violence survivor, I have a huge passion for supporting individuals who struggle with past/ongoing unhealthy intimate relationships trauma, attachment injuries, low self-esteem, racism, language barriers, and interracial relationships and helping them reclaim their authenticity and life. I am also one of few Asian LGBTQIA+ therapists in town :)
I enjoy working with children (6+), teens, adults, couples, and families from diverse cultural backgrounds. I use various systemic therapy models that fit your unique issues, needs, and goals, but my main styles are CBT, DBT, a humanistic approach such as Experiential therapy, and a holistic approach like Gestalt therapy. I offer therapy in Japanese as well.
