Hello, and welcome! I fully believe that every person brings an individualistic perspective to the table - Shaped by their own identities, experiences, and challenges. It's most important to create a space where we can explore unique solutions together and model healthy communication and relationships. My hope is that we explore emotions, practice vulnerability, and work towards personal goals together. I also acknowledge how my identities and statuses of privilege show up and I intentionally operate with an anti-racism lens to help empower clients to show up authentically.
Although I primarily utilize a person-centered lens (and some attempts at humor) to develop rapport, I firmly believe a multifaceted approach to counseling benefits my clients, all of whom hold individual life experiences. My clients have used sessions to address life transitions, sexual/gender identity, addictions, anxiety, and relationship concerns.
While counseling is a continuous journey that cannot be expedited, the destination is worth it. While the path can swerve, circle back, and feel endless, you do not have to travel alone.
