I provide individual therapy to adults and have significant experience working with graduate and undergraduate college students, having trained and worked at Northwestern University, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and the University of Michigan. I specialize in working with anxiety, identity development concerns, shame, depression, ADHD and executive function concerns, stage of life transitions, project management, and dissertation completion. I also have experience working with substance use concerns; men's issues such as intimacy, emotional expression, and anger; family concerns/conflict; and interpersonal trauma.
I work from an integrative approach within a multicultural & trauma-informed framework, utilizing interventions from IPT, psychodynamic therapy, CBT, and DBT. I use collaboration, humor, and authenticity to create an environment that allows my clients to explore their experiences, better understand themselves, health and happiness, however they define that.
