I am a licensed psychologist at Aloha Psych Associates. I am inspired by the “aloha spirit,” drawing on Hawaiian concepts like ‘alo’ (presence), ‘ha’ (breath of life), ‘mana’ (healing energy), and ‘ohana’ (family and connectedness). My clinical focus includes working with adults, especially immigrants and members of the LGBTQIA and BIPOC communities, across the life span, managing issues of anxiety, mood disorders, trauma, and other psychosocial stressors.
I am a member of both the American Psychological Association and the National Latinx Psychological Association. As a bilingual (Spanish)-bicultural clinician, I understand the importance of incorporating conversations of social identity into the dialogue of mental health and how much of a critical component it can be.
I am a Bay Area native and have devoted the past 10 years advocating for, learning about, and working in mental health services. Outside of work, I like to spend time with my family, traveling, and engaging in Sacramento’s vibrant and growing community.
