I graduated from UNLV with a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and a Ph.D. in Higher Edu & Edu Psychology. I have over 19 years of experience working in higher education with students who are academically underperforming. I have experience working with individuals who has suffered Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), anxiety, depression, drug, alcohol, and gambling addictions. I have played Soccer at a competitive level, and I enjoy working with children and adolescents who are suffering from sport traumas and building their self-esteem to perform at their highest level. I am genuine, empathetic, and solution focused.
I use approaches aligned with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), solution-focused, and client centered. My mantra is “we can all succeed and prosper if we are willing to put the work to reach our goals.”
