Hello, my name is Luis Lomeli, and I am a bilingual Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist based out of Los Angeles, California servicing clients statewide via telehealth. Over the years I have worked with children, adolescents, and adults to assist with managing issues of anxiety, stress, depression, acculturation, and trauma using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Client-Centered Therapy, and other modalities. My focus is to assist my clients in discovering their strengths and build upon them in order to reach their goals.
A few clients that I have been able to assist have come to me due issues with anxiety, depression, stress, acculturation, and trauma. I work to help my clients identify frequent triggers, thought patterns, emotional reactivity, and assist in developing skills to allow them to decrease symptoms and gain a more positive outlook on life.
My communication style is calm, accommodating, and personable to create a safe place for my clients. I want my clients to feel comfortable talking with me about anything without judgment. I invite my clients to speak in their own style during the sessions to allow us to connect on a more personal level.
