As a bilingual psychologist (Spanish) and having more than 25 years of experience in the mental health field makes me a good professional to assist clients. Working in America with Hispanics, Anglos, and African-Americans makes me a cultural sensitive professional. I have provided therapy and counseling to multi-culturally diverse clients with issues such as psychiatric illness, substance abuse, domestic violence, child abuse, and parenting skills. In 2015, I wrote a book on adult ADHD in Spanish. In 2016 I wrote a book on Borderline Personality disorder you can find both in Amazon.com I also provide consultation and supervision.
In the USA I have been trained in cognitive behavioral therapy, brief therapy, and REBT. I have experience with ADHD, autistic children, the elderly, domestic violence, PTSD, drug abuse issues, relationships, difficult transitions, spirituality, and personality disorders.
What makes me special among others is my extensive experience in diverse areas of mental health and my ability to speak other languages, and understanding diverse cultures. As well as sensitive to the suffering of my clients.
