My clients are adults, children, and families. Adult clients are often motivated to enter therapy by emotional challenges or difficulties in relationships. Children typically present with behavioral or emotional concerns — they may be depressed, withdrawn, angry, defiant, or underachieving — and are brought into therapy by a concerned caregiver. Therapy with children is very different from therapy with adults and requires an approach that is engaging, supportive, and developmentally appropriate. I provide a confidential, safe place to explore important issues and collaborate on approaches that feel right for you.

For adults, I use psychodynamic psychotherapy grounded in attachment theory. For children, I incorporate experiential play, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and parent-child interaction therapy (PCIT).

I collect payment after each session, then provide a monthly invoice for clients to submit to insurance. Insurance re-imburses client after deductible. Molina and Coordinated care are a bit different: those clients only pay their co-payment.
