Trauma often robs us of our sense of control – not just over our environment but also our bodies, and of feeling safe in connection with ourselves and others. I believe that healing occurs once we begin to feel safe and connected again – or perhaps for the first time. Healing gives us back our choice to live in alignment with authenticity rather than reacting or hiding from a place of trauma. As we begin to feel a greater sense of safety in the world, we are able to let in more exploration, self-expression, connection, and joy into our lives.
I help clients process, integrate, and finally let go of what is holding them back or keeping them stuck. I use Polyvagal theory/NS regulation, somatic/body work, inner child/parts work, and EMDR in my practice. It would be an honor to walk alongside you on your healing journey as we peel back the layers of trauma to reveal your authentic self.
My approach is trauma-informed and attachment-based. While relationships may have hurt us in the past, I believe it is through secure and nurturing relationships that we heal.
