Baltimore Pediatric Psychology is the private practice of Dr. Lucy Leibowitz. I am a licensed psychologist in Maryland with availability for therapy and psycho-educational evaluations. My specialty is in helping parents and children manage emotional and behavioral concerns, including anxiety and depression, tantrums, ADHD, and sleep problems across ages. I use cognitive-behavioral strategies and collaborate with families to develop effective and individualized treatment plans. I believe in sharing research and best practice with families and working together to implement these approaches for each unique family.
As a pediatric psychologist, my role is to help parents navigate the wide range of daily stressors and develop tools to better support your children. I specialize in treating anxiety (including separation anxiety, social phobia, nighttime fears, COVID-related anxiety), depression, ADHD, and sleep disturbance (from infancy through the teenage years).
We offer psychoeducational evaluations for children ages 5+ through young adults to help better understand academic, social/emotional, and behavioral concerns.

Virtual Book Club for Parents/Caregivers
4-week workshop for parents of kids ages 4-10. Participants will read No-Drama Discipline (by Daniel Siegel and Tina Payne Bryson) and meet weekly (virtually) to discuss. Learn strategies to work through big emotions, set limits, reduce conflict, and improve relationships. Benefit from Dr. Leibowitz’s expertise in an approachable group workshop format. This series will be supportive and interactive, helping parents apply what they’re reading, and connect with other parents.
