Hi I am Lucy Henry a Professional Counselor in Greenville SC. I seek to work with clients who are looking to grow and heal. I work best with people who are willing to look at their pain and grow. I believe in resilience of the human spirit but we have to uncover some of our layers to become our true selves. I use a combination of positive psychology and cognitive behavioral therapy to facilitate growth and healing in individuals. I work best with adults and older adolescents.
I work best with adults, couples and adolescents who are seeking to take responsibility and work to reach their full potential. I work best with those who are struggling with mood disorders, grief and loss as well as those who are seeking to gain life skills to better cope with life's difficulties.
I became a therapist after realizing I have a passion for helping others find a safe place to be vulnerable and look at themselves. I have found through the years it is by shedding tears that we find growth. My practice name, DancingWater Counseling is all about learning to dance with ourselves in the midst of pain.
