Adults, Teens, and Children in need of counseling benefit from Creative Arts Therapy, as do families, and couples. I offer the optional use of Creative Arts to help clients gain a much needed perspective to assist them in their healing. Words, alone, cannot fully express your feelings. The creative arts can provide a potent "language" for expression and requires no previous art making experience. Paint, college, clay, mask-making, and creative writing help clients express, understand, and transform their feelings into allies for healing. Art Therapy has been designated as a mind-body approach by the National Institute of Health.
The focus of my work is with adults, teens, and children dealing with crisis, emotional, challenges, trauma, relationship issues, and cognitive, or physical challenges. I utilize Art and Play Therapy with children and Art Therapy with teens and adults. Other issues include trauma, death,dying, autism spectrum, and teen crisis.
I can help in times of change, uncertainty, separation, divorce, retirement, serious medical diagnosis, depression, relocation, crisis, and for families with children with special needs. I welcome the opportunity to work creatively with people of all ages, races, cultures, and diverse orientations interested in their own growth and healing.

The Creative Arts Therapy Certificate Program is for Social Workers & Mental Health Professionals who want to include Art Therapy approaches in their practice, including: visual arts, creative writing, movement, music, photography, dramatic arts, and Sandplay Therapy.
