I am a psychotherapist in private practice in the East Bay since 1996. I offer a non-judgmental therapeutic relationship where individuals, couples or families can find self acceptance, safety, access insight and intuition, and cultivate an attitude of kindness toward the self and others. Recovery from trauma, working on communication and relationships, overcoming addiction, spiritual self-development and healing, and coping with depression/stress from major life transitions are common themes. I have taught and supervised therapists in training at various local agencies. I also have a background in holistic and shamanic healing.
I offer presence, compassion, deep listening, and authenticity. My approach is eclectic and flexible. I draw from harm-reduction, holistic, feminist-relational, psychodynamic, somatic, transpersonal, eco-psychological, and shamanic perspectives, and from my own life experience. I work collaboratively with my clients and I always want to continue to learn.
I specialize in working with people who are marginalized by the dominant culture due to their gender identity, sexual orientation or practices, race, or cultural background. I have many years of experience working with queer, trans, and nonbinary people, sex workers, radical activists, biracial couples, poly/kink relationships and alternative families.

Supervision & Consultation
A supervision/consultation group for Marriage & Family Therapist interns. Join a weekly supervision group with a focus on mutual support, case consultation, creativity, safety and authenticity. Accrue hours and learn in a nurturing environment where you can be yourself. Explore your intuition, clinical thinking, and counter-transference, and allow yourself to be both vulnerable and experimental in your feedback with your colleagues.
