The foundation of all my psychotherapy work is Bowen Family Systems Theory. I am a Certified Gottman Method Therapist, and I am trained and experienced in utilizing Dialectical Behavior Therapy and EMDR . I utilize these methods and frameworks as beneficial to clients in their work toward Differentiation of Self, no matter the specific presenting problem.
Even when I work with individuals, I conceptualize clients' challenges and resources as ‘residing’ in the larger family context. My goal is to ask good questions that will stimulate your thinking so you can clarify who you are, what you believe, what you want and what you will do.
