Announcement icon I am currently conducting tele-therapy sessions. I also have an outdoor patio at my office space, so it is possible to sit outside.
Awarded Oakland Magazine's "Best Therapist" 2020, my specialties include: relationship issues (such as conflict resolution, dating, pre-marital counseling, divorce, blended families and infidelity); grief and loss; addiction, recovery and codependence; anxiety and depression. My approach is both warm and direct-- my clients experience me as accepting and empathic, while also feeling challenged the right amount to grow and change. I am an integrative therapist, meaning I integrate more than one way/theory/model to view and treat psychological and/or relational concerns. See my website for education, experience and credentials.
I offer consultations, individual, couple and group therapy. My priority is to create a relationship based on a mutual understanding of what you'd like to accomplish by coming to therapy and I review these goals with you on a regular basis to ensure we're on track.
My philosophy is that we are all "perfectly imperfect." So many people struggle to accept their inherent imperfections, their humanity. As a therapist and as a human being, I work to embrace my strengths as well as my imperfections, and I encourage my clients to do the same.

Lucia ('loosha') Grauman's Groups

Women's Group (Grief/Loss)

The main issue that links the current members is one of grief due to the death of a loved one, but members are in varying stages of the grieving process so the group focus organically unfolds from session to session, depending on what is pressing for each member. Members share the talking time, allowing for as much or as little to be focused on the grief at any given time. Other issues discussed are relationships, parenting, work, depression & anxiety, but we are always circling back to the grief and how members are coping with the loss. Pls. contact with questions.
