ACCEPTING NEW CLIENTS FOR IN-PERSON SESSIONS & TELETHERAPY I am a Bilingual, Serbo-Croatian, and Bosnian, Fully Licensed Mental Health Counselor and have experience working with individuals, including children, adolescents, and adults. I build relationships by meeting people where they're at, creating a safe place, and providing empathy and understanding. Although I have experience working with people of all ages, I especially enjoy working with children. I have an interest in working with assisting individuals to gain insight into intuitive eating, mindfulness, sleep, and self-compassion.
I provide a safe space for the child and parent to gain insight into their situation. Together we work towards an outcome that can be applied in other life situations, such as school, peer relationships, and life at home. I practice many types of therapy, including Adlerian Play Therapy, Mindfulness, Trauma-Focused.
There are times in our lives when we all experience the need to hide behind a mask to survive. Sometimes that becomes a heavy burden to carry and we need guidance to find ways to ease that burden. I will provide the support that best suits you in your journey to feel confident and capable of taking off that mask and being the hero of your own story.
