My goal is to help adults and teens who struggle with stress, anxiety, depression, grief or past traumatic events. Many people need assistance as they work through the level of trauma they have endured. Although they are healing from their deep wounds, they may still need help with building new lifestyles or coping skills. Often, they may use alcohol, drugs, self-cutting or excessive time on video games to try and resolve their issues. They may also experience emotional overreactions such as hitting, swearing, or difficulty in getting along with others.
I believe there should be a marriage between past trauma and addressing current behavior deficits. My skills in CBT, DBT and Mindfulness therapy gives me hope and the belief that anyone can have a healthy and joy-filled life once they learn new skills that address healing.
During my life, I have experienced traumatic events that caused emotional pain and stress. I have a story, just like you have a story. As I dealt with learning therapeutic skills for myself, I realized that I could help others too. I believe clients will find it immensely helpful in daily life as they begin to use the therapy tools I provide.
