I am a caring, empathetic, and experienced therapist with more than 20 years in practice. I work with individuals, families, and people in many sorts of relationships, especially in the areas of anxiety and stress management, trauma and post-traumatic stress, depression, self worth and self-actualization, gender identity, sexuality and intimacy, and life transitions.
I have extensive experience helping people overcome stress, trauma, and depression. Working with a psychodynamic perspective, cognitive-behavioral skills, and an integrative mind-body approach facilitates healing. My practice is open to all individuals, relationships, and families. Service dogs are welcome at your sessions.
I assist women, especially those with issues of body image, sexuality, health, relationships, abuse, career, stress, and depression. I also have expertise in helping people with gender issues. My work with transgender individuals includes supportive psychotherapy, assessment, coming out, gender change and choices, confidence building, relationship issues, and referrals for ancillary services.
