La’ Merle serves children and adults and provides Individual and family counseling. She works with individuals in order to help them deal with issues involving mental and emotional health that could be related to past trauma, mental illness or substance abuse. She helps individuals to gain insight into their emotional make-up and find healing around past trauma. In family counseling she helps families to work through their issues facilitating dialogues and ensuring everyone’s needs are met.
La’ Merle utilizes a selection of theories, styles and techniques to incorporate what is most helpful for the individual. She draws from the person Centered approach, family systems and cognitive behavior therapy (CBT). Each treatment is individualized to meet the needs of the person to create, encourage and empower personal growth.
