I work with folks who have been othered for a lot of their lives. This primarily means some combination of LGBTQIA+, polyamorous/ENM, BDSM/kink, SW, neurodivergent, & chronically ill/disabled folks, but is not exclusive to these identities. I work with clients on a variety of topics, but special interests include: Unpacking attachment wounds using IFS; Transition stages in Poly/ENM; Exploring identity; Freedom from shame regarding sex & kink; Impacts of disability; Relationships to health, body image, and/or fatness from a fat liberatory and body neutrality lens.
I approach therapy from a Relational-Cultural lens, prioritizing a solid therapeutic relationship as the foundation for all growth. I am Level 1 trained in IFS (Internal Family Systems), and use this modality to frame the work. When appropriate, I borrow from other modalities, including EFT, Somatic Experiencing, Sex Therapy, & Attachment Theory.
When you make the decision to attend therapy, you are making the decision to prioritize your wellbeing. If you're interested in finding out more about my approach, please consider reaching out for a free consultation so we can meet and discuss your goals.
